The Secrets of the Beach

I walked along the beach
The waves were crashing wildly on the rocks
The sand whipped through my hair
The shells whispered secrets
The wind made music to my ears
And I began to laugh

This looks like the bottom of Mutton Bird Island in Coffs Harbour. Have you ever been there Bush Boy? It is especially wonderful at night around this time of the year with the wind on your face and the warm sea breeze mumuring and the sound of crashing on the rocks. Great poem
